Subwoofer trouble
Now, I know there are others (not necesarily here) have this problem, but I thought maybe there would be a home-made solution. I have a non-powered subwoofer from a Sony 5.1 HTS I got for 200 a while back that's not half bad. Now, I have a higher end HD-Ready amp, and want to use those speakers. Problem: the subwoofer uses regular + and - output wire, but the amp only takes the coax input. I know about the inline crossover alternative, but I don't think that it would still be comparable with DTS. Is there such an adapter? Or can I make one from scratch?

Re: Subwoofer trouble
Bump. Is it a n00b question? If so, sorry. But I know as of like 2006, there was no adapter. Is it worth looking into making one, or is it impossible?
