I did not know where to put this so here is my question
I have a snes to gamecube adaptor. I thought I read somewhere that you could hook a nes controller to the retro duo even though it has super nintendo connectors. Just swith two wires.
I built a adaptor to hook NES controller into SNES port but when I plug it into the Wii/Gamecube B registers as b and A registers as b. Start and select do nothing but dpad works perfectly. Also when I first plug adaptor in mario jumps so that means it registers as a button being pressed.
Anyone got any clues to how to get this to work. I know you can get SNES to work on NES I just want to do the opposite of that so I can use my nes controller on snes adaptor. Can it be done?

Re: NES to SNES controller adaptor Questions
no one know an answer to this. That's hard to believe I was really hoping to not have to buy another adapter to use nes controller on wii since super nintendo and nintendo controller were so similar.
