Does anybody have any information on connecting the gamecube memory card internally?
I can't seem to find any anywhere

Re: gc memory card question
Is this for a portable, or for some other project? In the end either way, it would come down to soldering each contact on the memory card directly to the motherboard. With the motherboard heatsink-up and with the memory card slots nearest you, the pins will be in a nice staggered pattern. Conveniently, if you lay the memory card as if you were going to put it into the hypothetical memory card slot, the contacts are in the same staggered pattern. Each contact needs connected to its corresponding pin on the motherboard.
I believe there are better ways to do this though, depending on the project. For a portable, it might be possible to use alternate solder points and remove that section of the MoBo or for other projects, you might be able to leave the memory card slot "intact" and use a switching mechanism.
