PSP with no battery :(

Post by HotDog-Cart »

Hey guys. I got a free PSP slim today.
A nice silver one, but it has no battery or charger.
Thankfully, I found two wall plugins that are 5v that fit into it.

I'm wondering something. How many AA batteries would it take to power on a PSP for a good ammount of time? I think it'd be cool to sacrifice one of these wall plug ins, and make a AA battery pack for the PSP.

I don't mind cutting off the adapter end of one of the plugins, because one of them doesnt work. Lets just hope the connector still works.

Yes, I could just buy a battery, and charger, but that would involve spending money and waiting for shipping times. (PSP Batteries and chargers around here are EXPENSIVE. Way cheaper on the net, but then theres shipping times. Ugh)

Plus, its much cooler to make something!

I could always use a 3.7v cellphone battery, but that'd be too hard to find out how to charge it once its attached to the PSP... I think.

there was a psp AAA mod done not too long ago, that guy used three of them. but you'd need at leas three because the psp cant run of 3v.

The AAA mod says that you need an original PCB of a battery otherwise it won't work.
