Hello Everyone! Well, i'm going to make my first portable, this summer (start of it anyway) i have a broken PSP with a working screen that i can harvest and 2 Genesis', 1 of which i will pit (a 1st edition and 3rd edition). It won't happen quite yet (perhaps next few weeks or so) as i still need a case and some more knowledge so i'll hang about.
does anyone have any pointers on this? Thanks.

You cannot use a PSP screen.circuscommando wrote:Hello Everyone! Use a PSone screen of some sort.
It may run you some money, but It is your best bet.
Otherwise, just look through some build logs and some stickies on the forum and you should be ale to get all the info you need!

there's no chance of a PSP or Ipod video screen working? I don't have ready access to a PS1 screen.

We really can't harness the screens without some wierd technology that would cost WAY more than just buying a PSone Screen.
Look around on Ebay, They are like $50.
