Controller schematics help...

Post by Positron »

I am looking for the schematics for the controller. The 52 pin IC chip is labeled MX1720FC. I found a page that talked about someones project where they were going to replace this chip with a microcontroller to use combo-moves... I cannot find much more information on it other than a pinout. I was hoping to find schematics, and possibly code or a how-to on this project. Thank you...

That chip is probably one of the tightest-kept secrets. Although others have decoded the protocol I think.

They don't exist.

Look up the Cube64 project. You'll find everything you need there.

If you really, really have to have the schematic, why don't you just trace it out yourself. It's only a one-sided pcb with a few jumpers.
