Help with Power Source

Yesterday, me and my girlfriend felt like playing some retro goodness, so I took the SNES out of the closet and took it to her home. To our surprise, just when were about to connect the power source, something was missing:

Any suggestions on how to repair it? Which one is ground?

It should still work if you plug in the adapter to it. One of my snes minis is just like that and it works just fine.

Yeah, you should have nothing to worry about. That extra plastic in there is to take up the extra space, preventing the cord from being wedged in the wrong way. Just plug it in like you normally would, and it should be fine.

Just wanted to say thanks; After some tweaking here and there I got it to work. Had to use another, tighter powersource, and also pushed up the GND plate on the bottom. After I started playing I noticed my controller was acting weird, so I opened it (thank god it had normal screws), cleaned it, and even replaced one of the gummy connector things (how are they called?). Works wonderful.
