Psone max power supply?

Can I use more than 7.5 volts power supply adapter for psone? I`m aiming for 9-10V (measured with multimeter is about 12 with no load). This is ok for 7805, but what about 7.3v (don`t know if it`s regulated)

I use a PStwo power supply with mine, outputs 8.5V .

Well, it`s working for now.... with sega 10V adapter.... It`s pretty warm on bottom side
