GBC Broken

First off, I'm new . OK So I was using my GBC to do a mod today, and the power fuse broke. So, I bridged it, and put it back together, but it STILL doesn't turn on... Any ideas?

Are youu sure it was that fuse? Also did you brige any thing else with solder?

100% sure it was the fuse, tested the resistance with my multimiter. I tested the power switch AND the other fuse also. The fuse comes up on the multimiter as working, and I even put in some spare LCD screens. This is probably my 3rd gameboy that has been gutted for some sort of mod, so I now the inside pretty well. It was also a virgin to being opened, all I did was remove the headphone jack...

Are you sure you didn't touch the power jack in the process? I forget exactly what, but you may want to try bridging (safely) some contacts around there and then watch it boot up out of the blue. I've restored a GBC this way when I removed about 1/2" off the bottom.

Do you mean the actual contacts for the power jack, or the contacts for the fuses and whatnot that are scattered around it? (p.s., if this works, that will be AMAZING and I can finish this thing before school on monday, so i can show it off )
