How do I connect this battery to a PS2 slim

I have a Lenmar 9v 2600mAh lithium-ion battery
I need to know how to connect it to a PS2 slim (mine requires 8.5v of power)

I don't know what revision ps2 it is, but that thing isn't gonna run your portable very long. You need something upwards of 6000mAh. As for the power, most boards are labeled with what power goes where. Especially the n64

It's fairly simple to do, desolder the little yellow plug from the board, run the positive line to the middle hole and the negative to either hole beside it. It's fairly straight forward. The Ps2 slim should work with around 9.5v although I haven't tested the exact limit. 9v is safe enough though so I wouldn't worry. Like previously said, you're going to need stronger batteries if you want to get a decent amount of playing time. They suck down around 1900 mAh, so 2600 would get you about an hour and 10 minutes if you're lucky.

Try RC vehicle Lithium Polymer batteries... 5000mAh and weigh nothing... I found a site that sells them for around 30 bucks each... they put out between 6-8 volts depending on charge.... only thing is, charge carefully, and make sure that THEY NEVER GET A SHORT OR PUNCTURE. And you would need a regulator...

You can get external batteries for portable DVD players that are 9V

i can confirm that this battery works on a slim PS2, im using it right now to build mine. if you do get one though, just be warned, its very difficult to get them opened, make sure you have the proper equipment!!
