Choping up an N64 controller mobo
Ok, I have a question about this. Can you just cut the board an old way, keeping the main chip intact? or is there a specific way?

lolololol
I remember a post from metal cookie yesterday about n00b questions, one of them was about cutting the processor up.
He called it.
No you can only trim around the outside edges of the board. The metal parts that aren't covered by green stuff.

No he said chip, so I said processor. I'm not talking about the controller.

Re: Choping up an N64 controller mobo
but that's what he's asking about.
Answer:
Pretty much anytrhing that isn't a surface mount component or A plug(ala joystick) can be cut off, and rewired, of course!
