Links opening up in a new window.

Post by khaag »

Can an admin please add this in already? I'm getting tired of forgetting to right-click "open in new tab" and it exiting the thread I was reading.

Press the Back button.

Or use the even faster method: click the scroll wheel. That should open a new tab.

I just tap with two fingers, While were on the subject of moaning would there be any chance of getting topic preview instead of the time of date of the topic when you hover over it please.

Though it may not take any effort to just click on the scroll wheel, I always forget and just click the link, taking me away from the forums. However, we shouldn't have to do that in the first place!

I'm with khaag on this one.

middle scroll wheel click test

I have the same problem; I have internet ADD so I usually have at least 7 windows open so by the time I click the link and come back to it I forget that I need to press the back button to go back to the forums.

Please tell me by 'windows' you mean 'tabs,' right? Because if you don't have a browser that supports tabbed browsing yet you need to upgrade!

Well the scroll wheel works great if your using a mouse but it sorta doesnt work on a laptop. I agree it would be awesome if it automatically did it but Im already used to right clikcing and opening a new tab.

Is it really that hard to go into the control panel, and check the box that says "open links in a new window"? Like honestly. We had it in PHPbb2, why can't we have it in the new forums as well? :?
