Noob power question
After reading about making a portable emulator system i though id attempt 2 make one. I have every thing figured out except the power situation. Im a real noob (look at my name) at this so could some one please lead me in the right direction about learning how to do something like this. Thanks a lot.

Ok your planning to build (in layman's terms) a computer that will run emulators of 16-8bit systems. Now that we know its a computer, the thing is to avoid buildin a power supply at this point. Go look for a GameCube PSU. Tare that apart and use it as your DC-DC coverter. As all computers run on 12, 5 and 3,3 volts which are supported outputs of the GameCube PSU your set.
