PSONE SCREEN TRIMMING

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

PSONE SCREEN TRIMMING

Post by b_ski30 »

OK, I got a psone screen, but i quickly found it is just fractions of an inch from fitting in my case, so...

Can i cut the right side of the board (as looking at the screen itself) closer to the mounting holes? It seems to be unused board area???

Also, what should i use to cut that best?

Thanks in advance,
Kyle

You can chop off any unused part of the board. The best way of doing this is to skor the board using an ex-acto knife, then when you get it most of the way down, you can just snap it off.

check out this thread soon to see how you can make your psone screen as small as possible :)....(there are already some pics up so you can get an idea of what I shaved off :))
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
