How do you blend layers?;
On a side note, anyone that has artistic work, post it here, show it off, no mater what it is, as long as its pg.(personally i don't think art should be censored but thats another story) in the morning I will post some of my work that I have done.

What do you mean by blending layers? What exactly is it you are trying to do?
As far as digital art, everything I have here was all done in either Photoshop, or photoshop and illustrator. Using naught but a mouse. You can click most of them for a full-size image.

Though the last 2 dont have thumbnails I highly suggest you check them out. They are some of my favorites. I have a lot more, but I dont have them uploaded as of yet.

Im talking about blending two layers so that you make 2 layers into one.

If I understand you correctly, I believe what you are trying to do is called "Merging." To merge layers go to the Layers meu and at the bottom there should be 3 options. "Merge down" will merge the current layer with the layer below. "Merge up" will do the same but with the layer above it. And "Merge Visible" which will merge all visible layers into one.
I usuallu just use CTRL-E, which is the shortcut for merge down.

What I'd do is use a layer mask, and a large, soft brush to change the opacity of the edges, then use the layer opacity to change the whole thing.
