I have a 3.7v old nokia mobile phone battery and am wondering how i would go about putting this as a replacement battery in the gameboy and setting up the dc charger input. The battery is marked:

NOKIA tm
BLD-3
3.7v

First of all, we need some more information. What is the capacity on the battery and is it lithium ion, or lithum polymer? Next, you need a charging jack and charger to charge it. Finding a decent charging port is hard, I've looked. And I don't think that 3.7v will cut it for the gbc, I'm pretty sure you would need a stepup regulator, which would drain your power fast.

Its a 3.7v Li-Ion battery. The gameboy runs of 3 volts of AA battery so 3.7v should be good? Btw This is my first mod.

As for the charger i have The charging jack which i took from the phone and the charger from the phone. I was also going to buy a USB charger from deal extreme.

since the charging circuit is built into the phone, you're going to need to buy a 3rd party one to put in. Batteryspace!

they all seem to be to high voltage for the CMB.

How do i set the 3.7v terminals to the gameboy diagram?
