Gameboy SP Help

Post by bamrocket »

I just started a mod on my SP and I have removed too many things at once and need some help getting this thing to turn back on. Usually i remove one thing at a time and find out when it turns off. But this time i just thought, ah what the heck I'll just lop off a whole bunch of stuff. In any case here is what I have removed : battery connector, DC power input, trading cable, and the on/off switch. Battery connector was removed because i am connecting 3.6v AAA lithiums to the SP instead of the usual lithium battery. What would be the most help would be a map of the board so I can just trace out everything myself but if someone has attached batteries to it before thats helpful too.

I think we should check to see if you can withstand 220 volts

let me just simplify this, does anyone know how to power an SP off batteries with the same voltage?

EDIT: yeah the switch i soldered to permanent on, and for the trade and DC input i put a wire connecting the 2 largest holes of each. This is how i got my GBA to work with no DC not sure if its the same.
