remove the green tint with out any mods!! for ps2!

First just plug in the psone straight to the ps2 av jack. No wires no mods or anything!

Now start up the ps2 and let it go to the browser, now go into settings( where you adjust the time and all that) there should be one for video. Just select RBG and it will get rid of the green tint and should go back to normal.

Im so happy I bumped into this, this will save people a whole lot of time and stress. Have fun!

Thanks for pointing this out. I don't have a PS2, but it will save us the time trying to post how to change the colour on the PS1 screen.

BTW: This should be considerred for a sticky.

Play it using youre thing for a while, maybe half an hour or so. Does the screen eventually turn green?

No it never turned green on me again. once I set the settings to RGB, it never goes back to the green tint. Try it for yourself to what im talking about

I dont have a ps2 to try it on... Also, try playing a dvd, see if the screen goes green then.

If it does, then using the screen mod would be good, but if not, this is an awesome find.

BTW: the thread in the PS2 forum should be deleted, or marked moved.

Seriously I found the soultion to everyones problem. No more having to worry about that green tint that sony suposedly left there to pervent us from watching dvd's.

And YES I played for hours with this on it doesnt shut off

Just be glad that I don't have a PS2, because I definatly would have found this option
