why is my lcd screen not running at it's proper voltage?
i'm making a portable n64, and i'm using this portable dvd player as the screen. it works, there's just this weird problem. i was using these li ion batteries to power it at a nice 7.5 volts, but for some reason, when i turn the unit on, the screen flashes twice, and then stays black as the led power indicator stays on. i can run it at 9 volts just fine, but not 7.5, and the battery that came with it won't run the screen either. is this just some weird problem i need to work around, or is the screen's ribbon just not fastened tight enough?
