Re: Holy poop?
Maybe this means I can finally play a version of "Team Fortress 2" that has regular maintenance!

Re: Holy poop?
Not for nothing, I would love to put a PC or perhaps an XBox into the case they initially had planned for it.

I don't think they ever physically produced this prototype case, but it could probably be approximated.

Re: Holy poop?
I've never actually seen that one, the only case I've seen was this:

Re: Holy poop?
Yeah, I've seen that one too. Didn't like it nearly as much as the computer-rendered one.
But doesn't this story sound like that at all? Look at the back of that picture:
"Broadband Receiver with Integrated On-Demand Game Delivery Service"
Sounds very similar to me.

Re: Holy poop?
Meh, sounds like crap. I'd rather have the game running on my computer. I get internet lag just PLAYING, imagine the kind of lag with this. Takes 2 seconds to go from mouse movement to character movement.

Kinda, I suppose.eagle5953 wrote:Yeah, I've seen that one too. Didn't like it nearly as much as the computer-rendered one.

Completely different concept though

Re: Holy poop?
Actually, the Weighted Companion Cube doesn't actually get eliminated. "Kill" the cube, and then go back to the beginning of that level. The "incinerator" just drops the WCC into the tube from whence it came. If Valve really wanted you to "kill" the WCC, the incinerator would remove it from the level as if you threw it through the particle field.
Wait...

Wait...
I see what you did there.samjc3 wrote:you could use it with your best friend companion cube, but you cant, because you killed himbicostp wrote:Aperture Science Computer Audio-Visual Stimulation Device
