DVD player question

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

DVD player question

Post by Exdeath »

This may sound stupid, but if a portable DVD player has analog audio/video output, then is there a chance that it can somehow accept input?
I get a lot of bad ideas, so don't listen to me.

short answer no

long answer : 99 times out of 100 there will be no easy/cheap solution to making any screen accept an analog input even if it has a composite output

A while back someone had a DVD player that had used Luma/Chroma from the DVD player to the screen. But it required like 5 weird voltages to run.
