Magnet Fingertips = Six Sense (Old. but good)

Post by HotDog-Cart »

Back in the day (2006), this was posted on the net.

http://www.wired.com/gadgets/mods/news/2006/06/71087

Talks about a guy who put a magnet inside his finger to experience "ESP" or a six sense of some sort.

Has anyone else on the net actually tried this? I think it would be pretty sweet.

Whats your guys' opinion on this?

It looks like an infected wart.

Looks like you could do the same thing by putting a small magnet in a latex glove.

That's weird. And I wouldn't trust any of those "body-mod artists" any more than I would trust, say, Dr. Nick.

Not all thoughts should be threads.

For some reason, I want to try this. It would be very weird, but awesome.

It looks like it'd be really uncomfortable.

I think this would be a much more useful "sixth" sense, and you can always take it off later
Why is it that every time I post in a thread, it dies?

I agree, and I'm sick of all blogging being "justified" by slapping a question on the end of it.

And no, I have not tried this. It seems extremely stupid, but bicostp has the right idea.

EDIT: DO YOU GUYZ AGREE WITH ME? HUR
There you go, now it is not blog style rant. I feel the same way, though. Who made that thread that was like "Hey, I got a record deal with a bigshot record company. ... Anybody else have record deals?". Prime example, that.

Do you guys think I am ranting? (See, now my post is totally legit.)

So, you guys are going to ruin a thread and go off topic?

This thread isnt even blogging or even a thought. I know a lot of people havn't heard of this concept. Infact, benheck is a technology forum. This sixth sense concept is technology. It interests me, and probably interests others. I didnt ask "Has anyone else on the forums done it?", I was asking if any of you guys have read about anyone else doing it on the internet. And knowing the internet, someone else has probably done it. I was just seeing if you guys know more info, or have read other reports or updates.

I'm thinking about bicostp's idea. Seems like it would work.

Golly gee, reported.

See, I could post about how one of you guys' but I don't want to stoop down to your levels.

Infact, my thread isnt even blogging. There are other threads that are considered blogging. No need to just bother me, and theres no need to "Backseat Moderate" either. (You guys went off topic, and complained that this post and my other posts is blogging. Infact if they were blogging a moderator would notify me. You guys' dont need to go offtopic in any of my threads and accuse me of breaking the rules, when actually what you guys are doing is against the rules. Warn/accuse yourselfs.)

Now sorry about that, but back on topic.

Does anyone think that, bics idea would be pretty similar to the aforementioned article? Seems like it would be, to me. I'd never try anything in the article, but I would certainly try the magnet and latex glove idea.

Thats what the buttons there for. :P

If they decide to be rude and offtopic because I posted that, it will just dig them a deeper hole. And the hole is muddy, smelly, and damp. Trust me. I've been in it before.

I just don't appreciate being picked on, bothered, or rediculed. Just because you guys' don't like my posts, doesn't mean you guys' have to do any of that. Im sure if you guys' took the time to post something, you wouldn't appreciate someone coming and bothering or rediculing your post or yourself. I don't go around in your threads and bother you guys about any previous posts and such, and you should respect me enough to do the same. If you can't respect me, please atleast respect the forum and its rules. Ofcourse not everyone of us is going to get along, but we can atleast try. Cant we?

Thanks.
