In need of a TINY screen

Working on a quick portable, and it's really quite small. I was looking into 1.8" TFT LCDs for it, but I haven't had too much success upon searching.

The bad thing is, it's damn expensive. I know they accept down to 3.3v (despite what the site says); though that would be what, a 280mA draw with 3.3v? Anyway, the driver seems like it would hardly fit in my case, so I'm not too excited. If anyone has one of these (or the 2.5"/3.5" models, I'm sure they have a similar driver - looking at you Rekarp), could you take a picture of the driver board so I can see if I can shave anything off?

Though cheaper and presumably a bit more compact, there's hardly any information on this thing besides that it takes 8v (probably for the backlight). If anyone knows anything about this one, please let me know!

That's pretty much it. I've looked over some more panels, but nothing seems to fit my needs. I just need a tiny tiny tiny screen with a low voltage input and a low power draw, and composite input! If anyone has any good ideas, let me know!

On the 2.5" screen the driver board is filled. No trimming on it. Well when you lower the voltage it draws more amperage. Good rule of thumb is calculate the rated wattage. Then divide by the voltage you are running it at. This is a rule of thumb and not a super accurate equation but it will give you an idea. I know the AEIcomp will run off of 3.3V but it defiantly does not draw 1Amp at that voltage (i forgot)

I have never bought the 1.8" screen. The driver board does look different from the 2.5".

Damn, I might have to squeeze it in my case anyway. My case is 2.49" tall on the inside, and the screen's driver board is 2.5".

I sure hope so! I'll document everything if I end up buying the AEI Comp screen. Probably will end up buying it unless someone else has a suggestion.

This may just be my opinion, but get the 2.5"
Unless u like squinting a bunch.
