Creating my own PS3 arcade stick
I've been looking for information on how to make my own arcade stick for the ps3 with out gutting a six-axis/ps2 controller...etc... I was wondering if anyone knows how to program the buttons or can access information on how to do it. Possibly a place where to get the board/chips in the controller. I might end up just buying a cheap controller then gutting it out anyway, but I'm not sure which one to buy (if it makes a difference). Do cheap controllers break because of the chips..etc.. or the buttons are bad? I want to use premium arcade buttons/joysticks (sanwa most likely). There are many Arcade stick entheusiasts, but it seems that the only way they make their own is to gut out a controller.

Using a PS2 to PS3 adaptor will make it easier to build an interface.

Thats what I was going to do, but the problem is that I want to make two so one of them will need a ps button on it. I read about problems with not having one. The second one will register into slot three.
