What? Seriously this is like the easiest fix to do. Go get a replacement 72 pin connector and have at it. Your cost, ~$10. It doesn't take a whole lot of skills to take off a cover, a metal shielding plate, literally slide off a connector and pop a new one on and replace everything.

I fixed mine, and I didn't even replace the connector. Still works like a charm. If you want instructions, they're all over the internet; it's a really simple fix and makes a great weekend project.

You should't sell the NES for such a simple issue, but if you really want to sell it, you could get more money for it if it were working, and since it's pretty simple, why not?

No, you just slide the 72 pin off and slip the new one on. If you're still interested in selling, I'll buy, though.

emeraldz: I don't remember; I used to have the page bookmarked, but it seems to be missing. There are plenty of other guides out there, though, so I'd imagine you can find out easily.

usually the bent and corroded pins I replace the connector for. I Clean the hell out of 'em first though.
