How to make a Zenith/Psone motherboard fit inside zn-40 case

Just need a little advice on the correct and safest way to doctor the screens motherboard. I've seen a few cases which were cut and the wiring was then correctly reconnected to make the motherboard fit inside a zn-40 case. Some detailed instructions would be very helpful. Thanks.

You will need to do an LED mod and chop the top of the board off. I recommend reading this thoroughly:

You might be able to chop the top of the board off and retain the original back light, but I recommend switching it out with LEDs to reduce power consumption. Either way, you'll have to cut that top section off almost flush with the top of the LCD's metal frame. The best/easiest way to do this is to score the circuit board several times with an exacto knife and then snap the section off.

Yes, I agree, you have to do the led mod, or it wont fit in any zn case.

Life of Brian, I can also cut the amount of the board off to make it fit correctly then sand the traces down a bit and then use wire solder them to relocate that part of the board, correct?
