My plan is to make a small LCD from a computer function as a second monitor that I can have sit in front of me or on top of my lan cube when im at a lan party with a little flash animation of my case name with sponsors logos and the like.
I have a functioning portable DVD player I would like to use to try to avoid buying any thing.

I would be willing to use a S-video to VGA converter if it would be easer than running VGA into the screen. I just have no idea ware to start and would like to know what would be involved in this project.
