Trouble on the first step!

Post by jujubee »

I just opened up my controller, it looked the same thing he said in the book on the outside, but I opened it up and it looked nothing like he described it. Or... did it? :?: Does anyone have a picture of what the inside is supposed to look like? thanks!

How do you mean it looks different?

Are the controls on a peice of plastic ( like ribbon cable ) ?

You're talking about the regular Playstation controller (no analog sticks), right? They made a couple versions of them through the playstation's run.

Could you post a pic of the circuit board (fornt and back)? That would be helpful.

If so, which ribbon cable do I disconnect?

It doesn't matter what it looks like, just get the pinouts and attach it to the PS.

oh, thanks! I thought it was more complicated! Since this was kind of a stupid question, you can delete it.
