Help Choosing Batteries for N64p

Are two 3.7v Li-ion 5000mAh together for ~$50 good enough for an N64p? This is what I was looking at:

Or is there another type that would be better for about the same price and still ~7.4V ? Or perhaps smaller in size?

It's "good enough."

I would suggest this because it's got more juice, is cheaper, smaller, and has a built in charging circuit. You can open it and move the bits around too. This is the kind Bacteria uses.

Okay so here is my "shopping list" so far, with a few links included:

N64
N64 controller
PSone 5.5" screen (from ebay.com)

For LED screen mod:
4x 3mm white LEDs ~10,000MCD

How does this all look so far, anything I've forgotten (besides solder and tools and that sort of stuff)? Also, for the LED mod, should I use 10-ohm or 20-ohm resistors? Thanks again

Use 20-ohm, I've had 2 LEDs burn out with 10 ohm.

By the way, you only need one 20 ohm resistor. Just wire the LEDs in parallel.

Just saw this thread, two of these cells in parallel is fine, you will get something like 4-5 hours on a charge.

Make sure you buy protection circuit, for 7.4v (the two in parallel) or you have a grenade. You also need the right charger for the cells.

You can buy Li-ions, 7.4v, for less than half the price, and have built-in protection circuit too - like the ones I use in my PSone project. You can also open them up and relocate the individual cells inside your case to suit.
