Nope, your stuck, unless you wire it directly. ER is working on a solution to this, but it won't be done anytime soon...:P

I thought using a SDgeko, and SDLoad ( i think) made by emu_kidd you can boot .iso files off of a SD card. Been a little while since i used my geko, but i can boot .dols off i, and i think .iso booting was possible. Don't quote me on this tho, but could be a good soloution.

Scrap that. SD-Boot will only load iso's when the disk is in too. :(
I was getting my hopes up that i could get arid of the disk drive, in favour of the geko. Hurry up ER haha

I have sd-boot on my portable

here you have a little description
from tehskeen.com forums wrote: SD-BOOT is a program which lets you run homebrew and legally created GC backups via SDgecko.

Usage:
Put .GCM or .DOL files in a directory called GCGAMES on the root of your SD card.
Boot up the .dol/.iso file however you want.
Pop the SD card in slot B
Select a file and enjoy

Compatability:
http://wiki.scorpei.com/index.php/SD...atibility_list

Requirements:
- A Gamecube or a Wii
and one or more of the following
- PSO+BBA (for GC dudes)
- Action Replay + SD CARD
- SDML
- Modchip

Source: Included.

Thanks to:
gc-linux sd code for simple methods on how to use the sd gecko
brakk3n for the backdrop
everyone at tehskeen for the emulators and their sources
libOGC devs for libOGC
you can download it from here

btw, I saw this app, and it's need check a original disc is inside the DD, so it may be useless for this.

games also freeze, slowdown and crash , all of those if you are lucky and them boot

the compatibility list is really low.

if you dont want to plug the DD, you probably will need a smaller replacement, like electric rain´s drive or something like this

(anyway this one maybe has not relased to public yet)
