Overclocking the game gear.

Post by themadhacker »

I am about to overclock a game gear (give it "blast processing"), but first I need to know a few things. How many mhz is the game gear's crystal? Also, how many mhz can it be overclocked to?

Thanks

you are in luck. I just happen to have a broken opened GG laying around here.

32.2159

what I should probably mention is that the GG is extremely similar to the master system, so what you should do is look into the SMS overclocking scene, their limit is yours too, probably.

Thanks. Well, since I overclocked the GBC at twice the speed, I suppose doing the same to the game gear wouldn't hurt. I have a 48 mhz crystal lying around, and that isn't even twice as 32 mhz.
