dreamcast and ps1 screen

dreamcast and ps1 screen
im sorry if this is suppost to be in the screen part of the fourm, but can i connect the dreamcasts power with the ps1 screen because im testing out the connection and dont have a psu yet to split the power

No do NOT hook up the screen to the Dreamcast Psu.
The PS1 screen needs between 7v and 8.5v to operate.
So no you can't just hook up to the Dreamcast PSU since it is 12v, 5v, and 3.3v.
You will need a 7808 attached to the 12v line to drop the voltage to around 7.8v for the screen.
