Atari Game Boy

I had an idea with an Atari and GBO, since HK has created a 4x3 Atari Mod, I have decided with a pocket TV and an Atari 2600 (which I can buy), I would move the cart slot and wire the controls to the buttons on the Game Boy, and put the Pocket TV where the screen was, would it fit? I don't want to be dissapointed

Depends on the mod and the tv. If you led-mod the screen, you can save room by eliminating the transformer. The cartridge slot would be positioned where the GBO cart slot was, right? So the back of the case would need to be modified. You may need to change the cutout from the screen border, but that's nothing a Dremel tool won't cure.

This brings up a couple questions:

1. Are you going to give it a paddle?

2. Where are the game select/reset buttons going to go?

3. What about batteries?

Don't get me wrong, it's a good idea. I just need a little clarification.

(Someone did a GBA sp in GBO case mod once. Forgot where I saw it.)

well the 4x3 which I was pretty sure I invented. You cut off the cart slot and wire it directly to the riot pins. and Im pretty sure once you get into batteries and a pocket tv it would be too big.

Cennar did the GBOMG (GameBoy Oh My God!). The SP in the GBO case.

I dont think that it would fit. Maybe if we got some custom Atari PCBs made or the new Flashback is an AOAC then yes.

Yes, and that cart slot rumor means that it cannot be an NOAC because the NOAC lacks the capabilities to display Atari video (though it can run Atari code). It might be a modified NOAC design with RIOT and Stella as a separate chip though, but I doubt it, since the Janice (Atari's AOAC, also called Jan) design exists, so they could just miniaturize that.
But the current Flashback is indeed an NOAC (to the best of my knowledge).

Getting a custom PCB made isn't too bad of an idea though (see Forum 42 post about it here).
