Here's something different to tax the groups talents:
Last winter a snowboard accident left me without use of my legs.
Prior to my accident I was an avid Forza fan and player using my Xbox 360 racing wheel to the fullest. This no longer works for me. I have found no way to convert or format the paddles on the wheel as substitutes for the pedals. Does anyone know how to format the Xbox 360 wheel for pedal controls on the wheel or know of a wheel which can be formatted with brake and gas paddles on the wheel.
Your help is most appreciated

The pedals are just potentiometers, right? You could probably make up a trigger system to go on the back of the steering wheel. Or have a two-way analog joystick where up = gas, down = brakes. Steer with one hand, gas with the other.

Thats what hes talking about when he says the "paddles". The one I had had a switch that would allow it for mode 1 and 2, which was gas and brake, or shifting paddles.nightwheel wrote:Wasn't there a Racing wheels that some companies made that had the Gas and Brake pedals mounted under the steering wheel?
