DS Lite problem, please help!!!

Post by limpport »

So I opened up my DS Lite (there's no warranty on it anyways) to scope out for some mods. Now that I've put it all back together, when I try to turn it on, the green power light will come on while the screen is still off (as usual), but then only the bottom screen will flash once, and the power light will go off too. The battery is fine, and the DS does the same thing whether it is plugged in or not. Does anyone know what's wrong? All the parts are back to where they are supposed to be, too. No leftovers :P

Something's not quite connected with that ribbon cable that connects the top and bottom halves. Open it back up, check those connections, and the top screen connections. With it still open, try it again, and jiggle that ribbon cable. It's extremely finicky.
