Making a PS2p

Hey, I've never done this before and don't know that much about it and would like to try and do this for my PS2 slim. I understand its a litte challenging but I have a 360 so this PS2 is useless to me. Can someone please give me a suppiles list and step by step detailed instructions, preferably with pictures. I know this is a lot to ask and would be very thankful if someone were to do this. Use instructables.com to do if you want, its easier to make instructions i think, and that is where i learned about this site.

maybe if I post in this thread it will die.

you aren't going to get any step by step instuructions for a ps2 portable, If you want step by step instructions and a parts list buy ben's book and make a nes or snes portable

No just the PS1. But his book is still handy to have around when you do your portable. It provides great tips that can be helpful for any portable project. Even if his book don't cover that system.

go to instructables.com it gives a great guide on how to make nes portable. In fact this that is how I found this site I plan on doing something similar myself but right now I'm just in the research phase. I would like to mention that so far I have been unable to find any instructions on how to do this but I was plan on trying to do something original.

Also I haven't posted much on here but I have been observing the threads for a little while now and I must say the people on here are very helpful, but there not going to do it for you and then give you step by step instructions. So post your progress and keep an open mind these people know what they are talking about

That's just because we know there's a joy to making a portable (or whatever project really) if you have to figure out certain parts all by yourself, rather than being told that tab A really goes into slot B.

You dont need bens book, im just using his cases gfor a project.
And used it for only one good thing otherwise-Figuring amps
I had to do everything else, even in my PS2GO-Had 0% help from ben
The only same thing we share is the PS2 slim in our projects

Here, I made you a diagram for wiring:

You need to test w/ a multimeter to see what controller wires go where (They're not in order.)

You Will Need:
-PS2 slim
-Psone 5" LCD screen
-Power Switch
-Battery (Li-Ion is best.)
-Protection circut
-Controller
-Wire (mostly ribbon cable.)
-Soldiering supplies
-Patience

Don't be discouraged if you don't succeed, you will learn a lot and, hopefully, have fun along the way.
