But reviews of it say that this RAM is not good with an AMD chipset motherboards, the motherboard i was gonna get was this ASUS board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813131340
So I was looking for another motherboard and found this one.

But I have no clue what they are trying to say about the RAM Standard.

Is it saying that 1066 is limited to only AM2+ processors? or should only people with AM2+ processors worry about this board?
So this is what the computer is now with the Motherboard I originally picked out. This computer is meant to stay under $530.

You bought 2 x 1GB or 2 "sticks" of 1 GB. I believe you would have trouble if you put more than one stick in the same channel. Generally with today's setups, you are using two separate banks of RAM anyway.
If you have 4 slots across 2 pairs of slots (different colors nowadays), you can put one stick of ram in each "channel" (or "per color of ram bank") & should be fine.
You may have trouble if you upgrade your ram later by adding additional RAM of the same type to the remaining 2 slots. Then again...ASUS may have a BIOS update that solves the problem by that point anyway.
