I have the intec gc screen and theres just the lcd board and then the header board. When the thing was not taken apart, it only had composite in. is there any way to have it rgb in?
Edit: I searched for the gc screen thing but it was never confirmed taht rgb worked in it, or where to put it. Also, is there any way i could decrease the redness on it?
Does intec gc screen have rgb in?

adding RGB to devices that have a designed composite in is surprisingly hard. The composite signal goes to a chroma encoder where it is then split to the RGB signals for the LCD. You can search around for a small square chip with 40-60 pins (probably the smallest most complex chip you can find in there) and that will be the chroma encoder. If you're really determined you can search for a data sheet and figure out how to undo the comp in and switch to an RGB in but just trust me it's more trouble than it's worth and you'll break your chroma encoder at best.

UPDATE: I just opened mine and went through hell to find the RGB. I found it though-not on the boards but on the Sharp screen (that's what it really is) inputs. I can give you the pinout if you really want I tested it and it works. Unfortuntely there is some crossover with the standing image but I belive a couple capacitors can be used to solve this problem. I'll continue to update this post with my results.

Sorry. I posted a link to a replacement GBA screen (That's what I thought you wanted.) I should read more carefully.
I'm sorry you're having trouble at home, man.
