I'm going to wait to see what people think of the guitar and drums to decide if I want to get the complete set to replace my Rock Band drums or just the disc. I'll definitely be getting it though.

If someone can figure how to use the drum set for the Wii on a PC using a Bluetooth adapter, using GlovePIE probably, I'll probably get one then. It looks like a quality piece of equipment and I'd like to use it make music. (Real electronic drum sets are mad expensive!)
If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

I only got the guitar pack (not enough money for band kit) but I can definantly say that the guitar is 99.9% Amazing. The only problem is that sometimes the strum bar squeaks a little bit.Black Six wrote:I'm going to wait to see what people think of the guitar and drums to decide if I want to get the complete set to replace my Rock Band drums or just the disc. Ill be headed out to get it in a bit. I got the whole band kit. Does anyone know if the GH:WT Drums will work with RB/2? 'Cause I would like to have the cymbals in RB, but I have the RB1 kit, and don't want to buy a third drum kit (I'm lucky i can afford the whole band for GH as it is).

I've heard of all of them, but of those mentioned, I think I was most intrigued by Falconer. Haven't really heard much of their stuff, though.Jongamer wrote:agreed, I want some Hammerfall, Falconer, Maybe some Helloween and Stratovarius.grossaffe wrote:They need more European metal bands.
The European metal bands I follow:
Avantasia (super-band that includes members from Stratovarius and Helloween, created by Edguy singer)
Axenstar
Dream Evil
Edguy
Firewind
Freedom Call (not sure they'd be a good fit for GH, but you never know)
Rhapsody of Fire (although they've kinda hit a brick wall because of an on-going battle with Circle Music)

I only recently heard of them, when I was on last.fm listening to the Helloween radio, one of their songs popped up and I really liked it, and looked into their music more.grossaffe wrote:I've heard of all of them, but of those mentioned, I think I was most intrigued by Falconer.
