I just got a BRAND NEW Nes system on eBay!!!

Post by jgibson »

Hey guys (and gal), I just bought a shiney new Neo Famicom from eBay for $34.99. The cool thing is that this thing plays USA carts without a converter. Has anyone ever made a portable out of one of these? I am not going to attempt a portable with this because I am ordering it for my wife. She has a retro gaming obsession and would kill me if I tinkered with her new system. To see the system I bought click the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... otohosting.

The auction didn't say it was haunted, but it did "call out" to me this morning when I bought it. Maybe I can sell it for $11,000. If not $11,000, then at least $5,000. :D

This thing does look pretty sweet. I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on it. Finally I will stop the endless flickering, and actually PLAY my games instead of hyperventilating in them. I just wish I could convince my wife to let me portablize one of these, but she thinks spending lots of money on a nice system only to rip it apart isn't a good use of money. :( Oh well, I guess the old school ones will have to do for portables.

Is the motherboard a lot smaller than the old NES's?
