PSOneP Help [whats a good rechargable battery?]

So ive almost finished making my PSOneP (if ur in here, im pretty sure what one of these is =D), now all i need is a power source.

Im planning on using a 3600mAh limited edition PSP Battery since ive got a spare one, but im not sure if its going to have enough power....

Will it be enough?

If not, is there another rechargable battery that i could use, and have it charge it inside the portable?

Just so you know, ive used a slim PSOne (not sure what they are exactly called) but i dont have a disc tray because its got its own internal memory with all the PSOne game titles in there.....

So there is a lot of room inside the case at the current moment, so.... yer.....

The screen used is a Playstation One Screen, made by Sony. ive just pulled it apart and did some other stuff to it....

Ive pulled apart 2 PSP's ansd put the speakers from it in there....

I want atleast 3hours or more of game time out of it per charge....

So if you know a good battery, its appreciated =D

The Psp batteries are 3.7v, Psones need around 7v to run. So two of those batteries in series will power it. I think they're lying about the size of that battery, I've never seen a psp battery over 2000mAh.

BoomBox-Creations - don't know if it helps you, but in my thread I am talking about mounting two 20mm high Li-ion Canon 911 / 915 camcorder cells in parallel, 4000mA total (2000mA each), 7.4v: mounting them under the CD drive (there is enough space there).

According to Mario's sticky, he says the PSone takes 1000mA to run, and of course an unmodded PSone screen takes about 700mA or so; so about 2 hours 20 mins or so expected playtime, or thereabouts.

And the 3600mAh PSP batteries are special edition, tehy made the4m for about 2 or so months, until a lack of money made from them, but the normal PSP battery that i got for my slim gives me about 5 h fully charged, and the 3600mAh batteries give me close to 15h, so good for trips to Hong Kong, thats why i got 2 of them, one for the way there, adn one on the way back =D

I never had liked the NDS Lite batteries, their so hard to gut them, to put in more power..... i might work on a 4000mAh batteyr fro a DS Lite when i got this stupid PSOneP finished....

How did you make the internal memory? So far I know there isn´t a way of doing that, but you might have solved that problem.

No offense to him, but I personally don't believe him. At all. If it has it's own memory with all the PS1 games on it, then the memory would have to be huge. He says he plans on making a 4000mA DS Lite battery, and honestly I don't think that you can really make your own battery, not at home anyways. Of course maybe he could modify an existing battery to work with the DSL. I still find that to be hard to believe.

Like ive said in another post, ill post a thread on how to put a SD card slot in the side of the PSOneP when ive done.

im not going to tell you how its got its own internal memory, you should be able to figure out how to put internal memory inside the PSOneP

bacicially what i do is conenct it up to where the disc tray is connected.

It reads from the so called disc which is the HDD, but then you need to create an OS for the HD so it brings up the menu for the games or whatever else you are going to do with it....

When i have finished my PSOneP, i will write a tutorial on how to do this....

Oh yer, if you want the PS1 games to save straight to the internal memory, you need to put a few chords from the HardDrive to one of the memory card slots... that will be in the tutorial aswell.....

Im not modding the PSP slim & lite, ive just used its speakers, and its going to be a bout that size....

None taken, and take 10 107 roms and times by 700mb ( the max a PSX game can be) thats rounded up to 7.5 TB of memory, theres hard drives in America at 24 TB each ( im nto sure if there is any bigger, but a 24 TB was way too much fro what iw as going to do with it... ). so ive got one of tehm in there, and when you remove the case and all the stuff that isnt actually needed, it actually takes up a small space inside the PSOneP's case........

I said im going to try to make a 4000mAh DS battery, i never said i will. theres a word called MIGHT

And like ive sead before, I WILL POST PICS OF A BODY AND IT RUNNING WITHOUT A DISC TRAY WHEN I HAVE FINISHED!!

Wait... There is no 24 TB HDD in the freaking world! Well you could stack several HDD in raid for that, but there is no way that would fit inside a PSone portable.

The largest HDD on the market I have seen is 1,5 TB. Sure there is bigger but only when there is several HDD together.

BoomBox, my suggestion to you is to post pics before you finish getting those roms. Assuming what you've done is possible, you are ruining your credit here ASTRONOMICALLY fast by not proving you've done it.

Get pics. Don't wait. I cant have faith in you (Based on stuff that is just plain NOT true(IE: 24 TB HD)), but I still have hope that its possible you figured out how to put internal memory on it.

i payed around $3000 AU for it, but that was a fevw months ago, when the AU dollar was the same as the US dollar, so its about i think $100 AU more... if you want it US...

You my friend are a liar. That is a Western Digital 1.5 TB, USB 2.0 and firewire compatible external hard drive - in black. I nearly bought one, but the $400 price tag is a bit of a turn off. The 2TB "MyBooks" have a different case design.

Not only are you a lair, but your logic is flawed too. You are telling me, and the other highly intelligent people on this forum that you have a 24 TB drive you spent three grand on. Lets see...The 1.5 TB is $360 right now on Amazon. The WD MyBook 2 TB is nearly $600... Basic math, and basic logic says that a 24 TB drive, in this market would cost you well over $12,960, and for good measure, 85 cents.

Next your gonna try telling us its a solid state drive that uses intense laser beams to etch your memory onto synthetic crystalline memory blocks.
