I had one of these. I think it was faulty, spent ages trying to make it work, ended up binning it. You need to clip a backing strip over the back of the LCD ribbon connector, which is easy to do but not easy to make it work, in comparison with the Transverter; although there is no other alternative for GBA TV out these days.
The unit is designed for composite output, although as you see in my previous post, RGB is achievable. Composite output from a GBA is bad, reds strong, colour bleeding, etc - RGB is crisp and nice.
These units in this bid appear to be NTSC so not useful for me.
The Transverter gave an image on a TV screen (eg PSone screen) as fullscreen but crops a small amount off the left side of the screen, this unit doesn't crop anything but also doesn't quite fill the screen, there is a small border.

As you see, it is rated at 500mA, so add an unmodded PSone screen and you get about 1.2 amps; so a 4 amp Li-ion lasts about 3 hours. That is also similar to my Mini project GBA system. Don't forget though, the GBA itself still needs its 3v!
Tibia - doubt it works for the SP version, and certainly isn't shaped to do so. Designed for original GBA.
