forgive my ignorance, I thought you needed a pre modded psp to mod a stock psp? I have an old school fatty psp that originally had fw1.5 I think my boys have upped it to like 3.something or other now am i still able to use the batt.? does it come with instructions for installing the CFW?
Tattoos, the only thing I collect that I dont have to pack up when I move.
this works, you can actually make your own pandora battery by opening the battery case and just remove 1 pin from a chip... creating a pandora battery. all a pandora battery does is put the PSP into safe mode, which allows you to do a variety of things, mainly install custom firmware from what is code named "magic memory stick". custom firmware allows you to have SNES, NES, Sega, etc... emulaters and roms on your psp. Many tutorials on youtube on how to make one. works for all type and any version of software on your PSP(last i checked) only prob with creating your own Pandora battery is that it cant be used again as a normal battery, only puts PSP into safe mode. so you would have to buy another battery anyway, why not just buy the pandora. anyway A tutorial on how to make a pandora battery is in the Handheld Hacking forums, if you are interested. its the guide i followed and it works.

All you need is a pandora battery and a magic memory stick. There was a way back before the magic memory stick but it was more complex.m_lovitt wrote:forgive my ignorance, I thought you needed a pre modded psp to mod a stock psp?
