radica cart slot mod

Post by themadhacker »

since my genesis 2 won't work, I decided to salvage the cart slot, and try to hack my blue radica to use cartridges. my only problem is that Ben's digram is a little bit confusing. I don't know which side of the rom chip is which in real life as opposed to the diagram. so can someone verify which side is which so that I don't solder to the opposite pins? Also, do i have to remove the rom chip to be able to use cartridges?

I am sure there is information on various threads about this, although it would be useful to have a definitive thread as to how to do this (what connects to what, etc).
