Making a Wireless 360 controller wired

Post by Jongamer »

After failing the simple turbo mod on instrucables since my Controller is too NEW, I noticed 4 holes on the controller board right where the USB cable normally would attach in a wired controller.

I want to add a detachable USB cable to the controller to allow me to wire the controller when, A: My batteries die and have no access to any new ones. B: To use my controller on my PC without buying the wireless adapter for the PC.

Thing is google gives me nothing about making a wireless controller, wired.
(Cause I honestly see why, most people wouldn't see the point)

I just need a pic so I can tell what color wires go where.

EDIT:Found a pic on Instructables  but it is the old wired controller, and they go horizontally rather than vertical like on mine, but my guess would be from top to bottom, it would go, Red,White,Green,Black

There's another very easy way to mod a new controller with just wire and a button. Send a message via AIM and I'll send you some instructions.

Harshboy, is it the one I came up with and PM's to you?

I figured out another way, it works on all the ones I have tried where the LED did not work.
