I did search, and when I did it it seamed too easy, because everyone says to make a single handed controller is hard for even the most experienced modder
And I did it and wanted to double check

It is the case, not the internals, that is hard for a one handed controller.

For xbox controllers, you will have to remove the resistive film layer from the PCB.
