Eee problem

Okay, so around a year ago, I decided to buy one of the launch Eee pc's, it's been working perfectly ever since. At least, up until a few days ago. It seems to shut off whenever I move it the wrong way, not being rough or anything like that, just when I pick it up. Also, it seems to switch between battery mode and AC mode very quickly and at random times, so I'm guessing that the AC cord is the problem. But since it's a computer, and I know next to nothing about them, I figured I would ask here before I try anything.
