Well when I was like 10 my parents got me a telescope, at that time we lived in the country in the middle of nowhere so it was dark at night. Then for unforeseen reasons we had to move to the city and their is nowhere to use it. It has been sitting in the garage for 5 years now.
So anyway, it is powerful enough to see the rings around plants with. How would I find how much it is worth because I was thinking of selling it because I will never use it again.
How do I find the value$ of a telescope and lense?

I recommend examining the telescope for brand names on model numbers, and then seeing if you can find a newer one in stores, to get a good estimate price. Then search Google for any possible official websites, and check eBay to see if anyone else is selling the same telescope, and that should give you a general idea of what price you should sell it for. If you cannot use eBay to sell it, I recommend putting it up on craigslist, or posting fliers around you neighborhood with info to contact you should anyone have questioons or be interested.
