Would this fit in a YOBO cart slot?

I don't know if a cartridge slot has a uniform size, but I saw these and it would make it a MILLION times easier to relocate the cartridge slot on a YOBO.

Think they would fit? A YOBO cartridge slot's holes are 3 normal PCB holes apart?

What exactly are you trying to do?

You've got it backwards; it's a lot harder to solder to those pins than simply poking the wires through the holes in the PCB.

I mean, there's a reason nobody else does that...

no, it is easier to solder a wire through a hole where there is plenty of easier soldering to be done, maybe you should twist your stranded wire and not poke 1/2" through the hole.

also, flux is your friend.

Relocating a cartridge slot really isn't all that difficult as long as you use flux. Desoldering the cartridge slot is the most difficult part by far. All you would accomplish by using those pins is that you would need to solder 72 more things.

Well either way, how can I get solder off the PCB? See where I accidentally bridged 2 connections. I cant get it off.

No offense, but you really need to learn how to solder. Do you have any idea what you're doing?

Also, it will be a hundred times easier if you don't have a mile of wire poking through the holes, and you twist the strands together first.

You should be able to separate the bridged solder connections by re-melting the solder with your iron. (Adding a little solder helps melt old connections.)

Ok I will give it a shot, but I just thing it would make it worse...

EDIT: Yeah, I got the solder off.

PCB came with it though.
