Looks like Nintendo's on the warpath; I'd watch the ruling closely, this could very well spell the end of DS homebrew.

well that would suck, I kinda wanted to get a DS to emulate SNES with.

What five are being sued? There are more than five ways to get homebrew to a DS.

This particular case has no effect on people in the US at all. The lawsuit is against 5 importers/distributors of homebrew carts in Japan. NOT the manufacturers, which are in China. Nintendo is trying to stop retailers from carrying homebrew devices, by going after the main importers.

In the US you can never really find stuff like this is brick & mortar stores anyways, but in Japan you can. You see signs up: "New R4 shipment in! Don't ask what it does". Thats going to stop, presumably.

Is it really? Missed that part, I thought it was against the manufacturers!

Regardless, it's still not good news for DS lovers.
